Projects
International Sales Build-Out for a US Manufacturer (AV Infrastructure
Situation: An innovative US manufacturer of AV infrastructure products wanted to expand into Europe — their successful US strategy didn't translate directly.
Execution: Analyzed product potential and developed market-specific strategies for individual vertical segments. Adapted the approach to European and Middle Eastern market conditions, accounting for cultural differences by country. Built the sales network with full ownership — partner sourcing and management.
Result: Over 100 distribution partners across 28 countries. 50% revenue growth from the European business within 2 years.

International Sales Build-Out for a Signal Cable Manufacturer (China)
Situation: A leading Chinese manufacturer of signal cables for the event rental and staging sector had only two sales partners in Europe — in Spain and Italy — with no substantial international network.
Execution: DIME systematically built out the partner network within 12 months. The process continues on an ongoing basis.
Result: Distributors now established in more than 12 countries. Revenue doubled within the first year.

Building an EU Presence for a Consumer Electronics Manufacturer
Situation: A manufacturer focused on direct online sales faced the challenge of establishing a foothold in the EU. Without a local presence, EU customers would have been burdened with import duties — a structural barrier to market entry.
Execution: Set up and organized an EU entity, including all required approvals and registrations. Managed product certification and compliance to EU standards. Built an independent sales organization within the EU.
Result: Established a strong EU market presence. Successfully launched certified, compliant products into the EU B2C market. Approximately 35% of total revenue now comes from the EU market.

New Market Segment Strategy for a Technology Company
Situation: A technology company wanted to enter a new market segment — water dispensers and affordable water supply.
Execution: DIME developed the concept from initial idea through to the launch of a dedicated business unit — with operational ownership for executing key elements of the strategy.
Result: Successfully built a new business unit, from concept through to kickoff.
Restructuring the Distributor Strategy for an International Manufacturer
Situation: Only two genuinely active distributors in Europe — while other companies were granted distributor pricing despite not taking real value-added responsibility for the brand or investing in their respective markets.
Execution: DIME corrected the pricing and partner structure, built a qualified list of potential distribution partners with a genuine strategic fit within the first months, and took on operational sales support for existing partners, including concrete measures to grow revenue.
Result (ongoing): Existing distributors are already growing revenue within the first months, and new partner interest has emerged
LED lighting manufacturer in the luxury retail segment
Situation: A manufacturer specializing in high-end lighting for luxury retail brands, based in Hong Kong, needed the right market access strategy for Europe.
Execution: DIME developed the go-to-market strategy and identified direct contact with a small number of major target accounts — including LVMH and Kering — as the most effective route to market. DIME built these relationships, initiated and managed flagship projects, and then handed them over to the manufacturer.
Result: Established direct access to key decision-makers at leading luxury brands, delivered successful flagship projects, and transitioned them into the manufacturer's ongoing operations
Post-Merger Integration:
Electronics accessories manufacturer (UK) → US-listed company
Tension between the acquired company's established culture and the parent company's extensive reporting and compliance requirements. DIME structured communication between the organizations and built a training program to bring the UK team up to speed on the new reporting standards. Result: cultural strengths and sales model largely preserved, international certifications achieved.
Professional Audio/Video distribution → Nasdaq-listed Company
Extensive information and reporting requirements met an established company culture and motivated team. DIME structured the reporting processes, streamlined communication, and ran cultural workshops. Result: reporting systems successfully implemented, operational strengths and culture largely preserved.
Lab Equipment Manufacturer → Existing Global Sales Organization
Cultural adjustment and unexpected market obstacles delayed the rollout of the new sales strategy. DIME developed a tailored change management and communication plan. Result: sales structure successfully implemented, high employee retention.
